Davis

Folsom
What was a former cow town, now it is one of the most wanted places for young people to live. A historic town that underwent a huge transformation in the past few decades in this area. With the proximity of the American river near Folsom Lake and the Sierra Nevada foothills it is the most wanted place to live for people who enjoy outdoor activities. With 77 thousand people living here, it offers both a suburban feel and yet the urban rush too. There are many good restaurants and most importantly there are quite a few good schools here.
El Dorado Hills
With the proximity of Cameron Park it is quite a stunning place to live. It was built as housing for the local aerospace industry but now El Dorado’s biggest employer is Itel. Gold River
Have you heard of tAmerican River Parkway, or the so -called jewel of Sacramento? It has 23 miles of bike paths and walking trails along the American and Sacramento rivers. It is a bicycle heaven. With a population of 7,500 of people living here, it is mostly the town of youth and retirees. Median home value will cost you $481900 and median rent is $1948.
Rocklin
Well, Rocklin has been named as one of the safest towns to live in California. It is the best place for raising a family, that’s without any doubt. From amazing schools, public parks and free classes, it is a parents dream. It is located well too. It takes only 2 hours to drive from San Francisco to Reno. The median home value is $452,000 and rent will cost you around $1,600. Around 67% of people own their homes here. It is the real mecca for young families.
Granite Bay
An executive paradise. There are a lot of professionals living here. Granite Bay is a home to many corporate offices. With a population of 22 thousand people it is one of the best places to live in California. Fair Oaks
Well, Fair Oaks is always full of surprises. It is located just across the American River from Gold River, this town is known for its wild chickens that roam around town . We are not kidding.. They even have an annual Fair Oaks Chicken Festival that is a must see. It has been voted to be the 8th best neighbourhood by Niche as well.
Elk Grove
One of the family favorite’s too. With a population of 168 thousand people, best schools in the county, bountiful parks it is a paradise that is within everyone’s reach. When it comes to the housing price, it comes at a pretty penny. Elk Grove is a decidedly white-collar city, with fully 85.16% of the workforce employed in white-collar jobs, well above the national average. From IT to executive roles, the city has it all.
